Questions and Answers about Food Science fair projects for 8th grade

Would a science fair project about preservatives in fast food be good for an 8th grade to understand?

Question: Ok, so I'm thinking of doing my Science Fair project about the dangers of preservatives in fast food.
I would do this by getting a Big Mac, Whopper, and an Organic hamburger with all the stuff a bigmac and whopper have on it. Then also get fries from all 3 places.
