The negotiations of the future government coalition to becoming green the genetic engineering do not advance. Hardly a considerable environmental or bio federation remained quiet in the last days. In numerous explanations the organizations requested the black-yellow coalition to protect and to the cultivation prohibition for gene corn MON 810 record the genetic engineering-free production. A selection:

But also the opposite side did not remain dormant. In a common statement the German academy of the natural scientists Leopoldina, and the Berlin-Brandenburgian Academy of Sciences expressed themselves the German academy of the technique sciences to sharpen the genetic engineering law. They did not demand the omission of the adhesion regulation, concealing the locations, smaller safety margins, shorter periods for registration and a charter for the Auskreuzung certified genetic engineering Konstrukte from experiments on neighbour fields.
