Energy - Are We Getting Enough From Food and Drinks?

There are popular believes that food provides energy and hence, when we eat we obtain energy. Why then - are we sluggish after a meal and wish to nap upon eating? This article looks beyond the short-term effects of eating and de-emphasises its importance in energy production.
