FoodLogiQ and Smart Online Unveil National Food Safety System (Business Wire via Yahoo! Finance)

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.—-Consumers are growing increasingly concerned about the safety, quality and social impact of their food. The Food Marketing Institute’s 2007 annual survey of consumer trends found a 20 percent decline in consumer confidence that supermarket food is safe.
