Food program goes global (The Fresno Bee)
A Hanford-based biotech company — Global Food Technologies — recently signed a deal with a China organization that paves the way for Global to showcase its food-safety system. It will be used in production of a billion pounds of seafood by the Chinese by the end of 2009, and more than 8 billion pounds by the end of 2012.
